About Me

Hi, my name is Caitlyn Bennett. As a native of metro Atlanta, I have been surrounded by rich advertising and developing media my entire life. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a Journalism, Visual Communication Concentration degree in May 2025. I also hold a degree in Horse Science from MTSU and enjoy using my passions for writing and design to support the equestrian community.

Throughout my time at MTSU, I’ve been an active member of the MTSU Equestrian Team and served as its PR officer for two years (2023-2024). I gained meaningful experience in social media marketing, graphic design, public relations and content creation, including coverage of the team’s back-to-back IHSA National Champion titles.

I am a published writer, having written multiple articles for local equestrian publications as well as nationally for the United States Dressage Federation (USDF)’s publication “YourDressage.” My 2018 article for the Georgia Dressage and Combined Training Association’s (GDCTA) monthly newsletter titled “Mustangs at Wills Park” also won Best General Interest Article – GMO with 500+ members at the USDF Convention.

In my current internship with Denim Marketing, I write an average of 4-5 blogs and news releases a week, published on client websites and on Atlanta Real Estate Forum. My responsibilities also include social media management, content creation for clients and website maintenance. I have also worked in nonprofit and corporate communications through my prior internships with the Ray C. Anderson Foundation and Mohawk Group. I gained insight on how to write for differing audiences, and developed my copywriting techniques.

When I’m not behind a computer, I enjoy riding my horse, Tiger and competing with him in a variety of equestrian events. I recently won Level 1 Adult Amateur Champion at the WDAGA Annual Banquet, in addition to Top Ten at the international level through the Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA)’s annual International Challenge. I am also a poet and avid sketcher.
